November 24th 2005 - Champions League - PSV Eindhoven v Arsenal

We drove from Gloucester to Eindhoven, leaving at 5am; crossing the English Channel from Dover to Calais. Tim Gunner (Mr.Vice Chairman) was the driver. We met Evelien Gunner (our esteemed Rotterdam member) and our friends Wilmine (Feyenoord) and Jaap (Ajax) - both honorary Gunners. We dined with the PSV hardcore and made friends with them also. We then watched a very tense 1-1 draw, with Arsenal ending up with 9 men! Everyone satisfied at the end of the night as both Arsenal and PSV qualified for the second phase. A fantastisch time was had by all but it has to be said - It was f***** freezing! LOL
