Minutes of the meeting held at The Gloucester Royal Air Force

The
meeting opened at 20:00
Introduction
Jayl welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked all for attending.
He also reported the following:
Everyone that wanted to go to The Emirates stadium had done
so.
Arsenal
Gloucester had organised for young Luke Morris to go to the
Arsenal training facility and meet many players.
Success
and progress of North Bank FC; they had quite recently played
at the Emirates in a 5-a-side tournament.
Thanked
all his fellow committee members for their hard work and especially
Mr Helpsy Helps who always seems to know everything about ticketing.
The club is growing steadily with over 125 members and many had
joined in the last 12 months.
The web site has had a new beginning. It has been radically
updated. Jayl extended his sincere apologies for the fact not
a lot has been added the past year, it has been a difficult
season for us all, however new photos have been added, also
a new front page.

of last meeting:
Having been displayed on the website these were taken as read
and accepted as a true record of last year's business.
Matters
Arising:
There were no immediate concerns or matters arising from last
year's minutes or the opening address.

Chairman:
This was covered in Jayl's opening address.
Home ticket facilitator:
Steve Helps reported the following:
As a club we can get 20% off the new Arsenal away kit if we order
through Arsenal. Any orders placed over £100 we can get
20% discount.
A "Supporters club week" and new things from the club
(more detail available from Steve on this at stevehelps@arsenalgloucester.com).
Ticket
rules, home and away fixture will be sent to all who re-join.
Changes in the rules as to how we accept payment and order tickets
this coming season (payment needed within 7 days but there will
be more flexible ways of paying).
The Arsenal "extranet", this is only set up for "supporters
clubs" and features spare tickets and photos.
We can only order 13 tickets per game at the moment, but many
more junior tickets.
We want to organise more away games and sort out transport to
home and away games.
Steve encouraged everyone to get their ticket requests in early.
He stressed that if you ask you stand a very good chance of getting
tickets.

£78 - stationary / admin
£68 - tickets for Luke Morris to attend 1st match
£56 - bank costs (credit card charges)

£75 - "North bank" 5-a-side team expenditure including
trip to Emirates tournament
Special report - Willow Foundation:
Dave Gibbons reported that tonight's Arsenal Bingo would benefit
the Willow Foundation. Dave is involved with this worthy charity
and had organised some very special prizes to give away.
North Bank:
Pete Kinsella, the captain of North Bank spoke about the development
and success of the Arsenal Gloucester 5-a-side football team.
He presented an engraved trophy to the player of the year - Steve
Helps. The runner up was Jayl. Some photos were then taken and
will appear on the website.

Strict instruction had been given to raise any other business
in writing before the meeting.
No
issues were raised.
Meeting
closed at about 21:00 where upon the Arsenal Bingo took place
with special thanks to the bingo callers (Jayl, Dave Gibbons,
Steve H and Bill Mayling). Also a very special thank-you to the
ever-keen assistants, Fiona Helps and her friend Steph. A big
thanks to Niki for taking the meeting notes on my behalf and helping
with the organisation - top effort indeed. Only sorry I could
not be there in person ..
