NORTH BANK FC was the Arsenal Gloucester Supporter's Club 5-a-Side team and was formed in January 2006 by Jayl & Steve Helps. We played in the Stroud Pitch Invasion League on Monday evenings until October 2009, when it became harder and harder to keep a regular team going against the growing recession, with people having other commitments. We also featured in 4 Arsenal Supporter's Club tournaments, once at Highbury in 2006 and again at the Emirates in 2007, 2008 and getting together for the last time in 2010 - (see pic below).

It was emotional ending the team after nearly 4 years, especially for Jayl, who played more games than anyone, but in that time many members played for North Bank and dreams came true, especially with the opportunities to play at Highbury & the Emirates. It is hoped that in the future a new team bearing the name Arsenal Gloucester will once again represent us, with a new generation of players.

The team played 3 games -- a 0-3 defeat to Arsenal Fermanagh, beating Arsenal Switzerland 2-0, then a 0-0 draw with Arsenal Maidstone. 2 clean sheets in the final ever games.
